Russian Military Unveils State-of-the-Art Floating Attack Drones for Bridge Destruction

Date:

Russia is stepping up its military capabilities with the development of new floating combat drones known as Bridge Killers. These advanced unmanned vehicles have been specifically designed to target and destroy key infrastructure such as bridges, pontoon crossings, dams, and hydroelectric power stations.

According to sources in the Russian Defense Ministry, these state-of-the-art floating attack drones will include kamikaze drones that can operate on rivers, lakes, coastal marine areas, on the surface, and even underwater. Some of these drones are already in advanced stages of readiness and await testing before being deployed by Russian engineering troops, while others are still in the development phase.

The bridge killers drones come in various configurations, varying in warhead weight and cruising range. Additionally, the underwater drones are equipped with the ability to change depth independently, enhancing their operational capabilities.

Experts believe that these floating drones could prove to be especially effective in the Black Sea theater of operations and along waterways like the Dnepr River. Described as an explosive-laden boat with artificial intelligence, these unmanned vehicles represent the latest advancements in military technology.

The development of these combat drones underscores Russia’s ongoing focus on enhancing its robotic systems, a critical aspect of modern warfare. As the Russian military continues to invest in cutting-edge technology, the deployment of floating combat drones marks a significant milestone in the country’s defense capabilities.
