Adding Videos to Yelp Reviews Now Possible

Date:

Yelp, an online business directory, has recently revealed some groundbreaking features as part of its series of updates. Among these features is the option to add videos to reviews, which adds extra context to the experiences customers have had. Reviews can be up to twelve seconds long and are meant to capture a place’s atmosphere or other key elements. Other features now available include topics for reviews (e.g. “food”, “service”) and a “surprise me” button which helps pick a place quickly. In order to curate more relevant evidence, Yelp has integrated AI with language models, which helps users find useful snippets within reviews.

Yelp, founded in 2004, has since become one of the web’s top review sites. Former PayPal software engineer Jeremy Stoppelman established the company, with the goal of creating a site that allows users to share their experiences and opinions. Today, Yelp is a dependable search engine with nearly 225 million reviews worldwide and their secure payment system.

Many people have found Yelp to be an invaluable tool for deciding on businesses and services. The website has been credited for helping businesses and customers alike to gain perspective and knowledge about companies around the world. With its rapid evolution and introduction of new features, Yelp is undoubtedly one of the top review services in the market today.
