Introducing Nolej AI: Free Trial Available for Educators to Design Instructional Content

Date:

French startup Nolej is officially unveiling its new OpenAI-based instructional design generator, Nolej AI, to the public today. This new AI-powered platform is the product of a successful collaboration with OpenAI, the creators of ChatGPT and DALL-E, and other generative AI technologies, which have been making headlines. It has been beta tested with 2,500 educators and has achieved very positive results, with 85% completion rate and 75% retention rate.

Nolej AI can be used by educators of any level, and the generated material will match the educational background of the user. It works by accepting any type of content such as video, audio, text documents, or a website URL, after which it will automatically generate an interactive “micro-learning package” with a content transcript, summaries, a glossary of terms, flashcards, and quizzes. Moreover, this platform has the added capability of turning existing videos into interactive lessons.

The package that makes up Nolej AI is browser-based and can be used through integrations with different learning management systems such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, Brightspace, and edX, as well as through various website platforms. Furthermore, it can be used in Google Classroom, downloaded as HTML5 code or SCORM, or simply shared by URL.

At the moment, Nolej AI has two payment plans. The first one is a monthly subscription for $39.99, which includes 20 credits for 20 packages. The second option is an annual subscription for $399.99 that includes 280 credits per year. Moreover, it has a free trial period for evaluation purposes.

Nolej is a Paris-based generative AI ed tech startup that has the mission to make the process of creating and sharing digital educational materials easier and faster. Its chairman, Vincent Favrat, presented Nolej AI to Campus Technology today, a day before their official introduction at BETT in London, and the planned commercial launch at the ASU+GSV Summit in April, alongside demos and webinars regarding using the platform in the most efficient manner.
